Patrick Ness discusses his new adult novel, The Crane Wife, inspired by a Japanese folk tale, and quirky literary trio The Bookshop Band play music inspired by his books. The story of an extraordinary romance between a heartbroken divorcee and an enigmatic artist, The Crane Wife is written with Patrick’s customary wit and warmth. Patrick Ness is the author of the multi-award winning Chaos Walking trilogy for young adults and the bestselling A Monster Calls, the first ever book to win both the Kate Greenaway and Carnegie Medals. His new teen novel, More Than This, is due out this autumn. Patrick will be in conversation with Katherine Beacon.
