From Copenhagen to Manchester, Scandinavian crime has taken the world by storm and two of Denmark’s hottest crime writers are in the spotlight at an event that includes readings and lively discussion of the genre. Lene Kaaberbol is the author of the popular Nina Borg thrillers and The Shamer Chronicles, a young-adult series in which a girl with magical powers investigates crimes. Elsebeth Egholm writes the bestselling Dicte Svendsen mysteries as well as several acclaimed novels including Three Dog Night. The event will be chaired by critic and fellow crime writer Peter Guttridge.
